could any 1 let me know please if the 6 year credit history is from settlement or when the default was issued or when the ccj was isssued or settled many thanks

I've found with my credit rating its from the last point of activity so if the unsetted amount went to a ccj thats normally the last thing to happen so its from then. I hoped it was from when the default happened but mine went to a ccj a year later :(

i am closing this question now i have spoken to experian thay have just informed me that a record stays on your file for 6 years from the default date not the settlement date so hopefully these will be removed shortly they automatically are removed from your file after 6 years thank you
