There are several firms who claim to provide you with details of repossessed properties coming onto the market. The problem is that all require you to pay for a subscription, such as this one:
http://www.repossessedhousesforsale.co.uk/
My personal preference would simply be to type out a circular letter to send to all of the estate agents in the area you're interested in. (Addresses from Yellow Pages). Something along the lines of
"Dear Sir,
I'm interested in the possible purchase of a 2 or 3 bedroom semi-detached or terraced property within 10 miles of central Leicester and would be grateful if you would forward details of any such properties you have available, until further notice. Please note that I am particularly interested in any properties which may have come onto the market through repossession"
Then go through Yellow Pages again and look for the names of all the auctioneers, in the relevant area, who handle property sales. Write a similar circular letter to them but also ask whether it's possible to pay a subscription to receive their catalogues through the post.
