ADVANTAGE LOANS?

Has anyone had a loan with advantage loan?they offered me a loan for 2grand they asked for 49.50 off me for legal fees and i havent heard from them since has u can imagine im now concerned i cant offered to be nearly fifty quid out of pocket have i been had by these people if so is there anything i can do about it?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i applied to advantage on the 1st of august for a debt consolidation loan of �900. i have been told 3 times that i have been accepted the last time i was rung up by somebody telling me to call a 0906 number to activate it, i rang them, �1 per minute and i was on for 20 mins. i was told to ring back for a decision in 1 hr, so i did, �1 per minute number again, 20minute call. the company i called do not know about my details being passed on to their firm, as far as they are concerned, i went to them off my own back. i know have to wait 5 to 7 working days to find out off a lender if i have been accepted, in the mean time the baileffs are coming round to my house and i am having ccj court summons sent to me as i told the companies i am in debt to that i had been accepted for a loan and would have them paid off before the end of august. my health is now at stake because the depression and high blood pressure has started to kick in, could anybody please help me by giving me a number to conact these b*****ds on? thanyou
It is so unfair that they can treat people like this we obviously need money thats why wev applied all they do is take our money and run sorta speak,the only phone number iv got is 08700464433 good luck getting through though it took me days has it was always engaged.dunt let the b......ds get you down too much.
I work in the Customer Services department at Advantage Loans and was distrubed to hear that some of you are having difficulty contacting us. We have been short staffed recenty with sickness and holiday but are now staffed up. I do know that Advantage do have a refund policy for anyone who is unhappy with the service we offer. i got a letter yesterday saying id been accepted for a �5000 loan, when all id asked for was �500. i called them up to tell them it was a mistake and was told id get a new form out. to be honest, i did think it was unusual as i have had a lot of debt in the past. im not sure if this is genuine or not, has anyone received their loans at all?
