At last I have money to invest! I am putting the full quota (3,600) into an Isa; bearing in mind I am unlikely to touch this, what are my estimated returns? ty in advance.

Assuming you get 6% (not that difficult) �216 in the first year

If you are prepared to lock it up for four years Halifax do a fixed rate 6.2% for the entire period. (Not bad when it is widely forecast that interest rates should fall in the coming year).

This will see your �3,600 grow to �4,579.31 by the time the London Olympics begin (probably just enough for a room for one night!)
