Water Bill

I just went out for a walk to ease my gathering depression , got home & found a �111 Anglian Water bill f***! �44 for water , �67 for sewage for 6 months for a 1 bedroom flat. Seems exportionate to me . What do others think ?

Well guess so if you break it down . It was the initial shock . Better empty the penny jar !

my total water bill for the year, supply and waste (not metered but on valuation) in a two bed appartment is �460

thinking of leaving the bath running all day when at work to get my monies worth

helpmetoo, do you know that if they cant get a meter into the property that you can get bills lowered if you dont use as much as they expect?

My flat was 2 bed and rates would be about �40 a month. BUT i called them, asked for meter, they couldnt fit one so asked about my usage.

1 bath a day, no shower
no washing machine
no dishwasher
1 occupant

all added up to just �18 a month.

I got a bill from United Utilities for 6 months usage for �114.00 and i am out of the country for 3 of those months and i have a water meter its just they never come out to read it.
I am currently in dispute with United Utilities trouble is they take 10 days to answer questions or complaints by then i will be away again.
