I have a price capped deal with EON regarding my gas & Electric until 2010. I recently got a letter from them saying my payment plan was being increased to an extra 5 per month. I asked them why they were increasing this when I am obviously on a capped price. They explaind that they projected that I was using more units than before and this was reflected in the increase. I argued with them that although my bills varied I was usually in credit one month then slightly in debit the next. I also proved that I wasn't using any more or less units than before and said this was an underhand way of bringing in an increase to keep in line with Gas & Electric going up. Eventually they agreed to increase my plan by only 1 per month. Not a lot to argue about maybe, but I still believe they have broken there promise of the price cap. Has anyone else

They will still be charging same rates per unit etc. The only thing they may make out of it is interest if you are in credit.

Has you usage (units ) for the last quarter increased on last years same quarter? If it has then of course they will suggest you increase your monthly payments. If it hasnt then tell them where to go.

you are aware that capped means the unit price is capped, not your bill arent you (it sounds like you may be confused)? If you are using more your bill will be higher
