Up to now I`ve never bothered with C/Cards and wish to know if I can cancel a payment made to-day.

You mean you have used your credit card today in order to pay for something, and now you want to stop it?

No, it can't be stopped.
You can't stop a payment, but you can get a refund, although that usually only happens if you buy faulty goods or you're the victim of fraud, etc.

This is it.......I paid `Reg Cure ` $29.95 for `PareLogic Privacy Controls` and when I type in the licence key (keys) I get told `The licence key is invalid`. So then I try and contact them and can`t so I want my money back, I hate being messed about and going through all this bunk. Any advise Ethel?
You can tryraising it as a 'disputed transaction' with your credit card provider
That only works for tangible goods, as far as I know. It still may be worth while contacting them though.
