hy ,my wife mas been ill for a while and is on incapacity benefit .it is a mental illness ,but can anyone tell us what she is intitiled too apart from �75.50 she gets per week .eg bus pass or local swimming pool reduced prices etc .we are a bit embarassed to ask for help but getting her to start going out the house would help no end.thanks

It depends on how old she is, and have you had her incapacity benefit back-dated since she was sick?
Discounts on travel (other than for senior citizens) and leisure facilities, for people on benefits, are local initiatives, so the rules vary from one council area to another. Check your district council's website for information about any such schemes in your area.
