Setting up a Ltd company
16 Answers
Has anyone got any idea how we go about this? We have looked online and it says all the forms we need, but where do we get them? There are lots of websites offering their services but we are not sure where to start or who to use. Any help is much appreciated. TIA. Daffi x

"Not completely useless" - that's a judgement call.
Companies House (which you had already perused but failed to mention in your question) advises to search for "Legal Stationers" in Yellow Pages. Somehow you failed to manage that task, so I supply a link with that exact search term but without specifying your locality (after all, I cannot read your mind). You complain that the results are for stationery and office supplies. God forbid that these would supply stationery. I do hope your intended business does not depend on you sourcing supplies.

Personally I'd use Oswalds. We use them a lot and their service is excellent. They start from 125 plus VAT to do everything for you.
However, Buildersmate and I had a debate about this recently

and he reckons it can be done much cheaper. Someone else provided a link for 99 all in but I can't vouch for their service as I haven't used them.

Depends on the kind of detail you want really and what you want to use it for.
York Place do a good service if you want something more personal or complicated.
I have used these guys to form quick and easy shelf companies for clients...

Cheap too at 25.00 onwards.

Ps..Companies House has useful leaflets about obligations, filing accounts etc... which should help, esp if buying a cheap shelf jobby.

Kempie, I must apologise for clearly not being as intelligent as you. I did look at Comapanies house and also searched Yellow pages for Legal Stationers, but when it brought up stationers and we searched for the documents it came up unfound, so we weren't sure if office suppliers were what we wanted or not!
I came on here to ask for help, not an opinion from an uptight prick!
Thankyou everyone else x x

I attempted to give bone fide aid to you (twice!) and received a kick in the teeth. Did you think that a retaliation would not result from that? And as instigator it is too late for you to act as the injured party. Well done on resorting to profanities.
If you consider my wasted efforts on your behalf to be so patronising please be consistent and berate Jenna1978 for directing you to the Companies House website yet again.

It's a doddle really, I''ve set up a number of Ltd Companies using these guys - the prices are pretty cheap too.
