Their main problem seems to be potential sttaff who apprently cant think for themselves!

I agree with bednobs. If you haven't already heard about the current financial crisis you may struggle to get through the interview stage.

As has been said earlier - Barclays biggest issue is the quality of staff they can attract to employment interviews. The majority can't think for themselves and have to come on here to ask how to answer questions.

You won't be able to come on here and ask ABers when a customer asks you a question.

Your question illustrates why, although I bank with Barclays, I wouldn't ever dream of asking their staff for financial advice. Surely anybody who has been reading the intelligent press these days should be able to answer this question for themselves.
