I depositied 1.20 into my bank account however the cashier typed it as 120. Two days later they contacted me telling me of the mistake and asking me to repay the full amount. Now I am in reciept of benefits and cannot do this.I am afraid that they will deduct whatever money goes into my account. Is it possible for them to accept a repayment of a couple of pounds a week to pay this off? It was not my fault and i did not know this money was in my account until I went to get benefit money and assumed two weeks money was in there because of christmas.Do I have to repay this? If so will they accept small payments? I dont want the cashier to get into trouble because of this.Thankyou
