Disclosing limited liability
3 Answers
Does a company have to disclose somewhere on its sales website that it is a limited liability company if it is one? If this is a rule (e.g. under the Companies Act) is there a Directive applying the same principle in EU countries? My query relates to a French company which has not displayed its company status on its website or in Email correspondence. I have been unable to determine whether this company has failed to comply under either an EU- or French law. Any help would be appctd.

Apart from that , you can refer to any prospectus etc the company may have.Such written documents are better source of any official information that may be required. And we more often than not should find all such info in them.
