Hi hope some one can give me some info. Me and my new partner want to buy a house but unfortunatly my partner is still married. The divorce proceedings will not start until april (2 years apart).I want to know if it is possible to have something drawn up so that his wife cannot claim the assets of the new house. They were renting through the council and she left him so they have no assets at the moment. The relationship between them is on friendly terms but i want to make protect my own assets. Hope this all makes sense. Hope to hear from anyone that might shed some light on this or has been in similar situation themselves. Many Thanks

It is quite simple. Everything that you have either singly or jointly, and I mean absolutely everything including his wristwatch, razor, the car, cat and the kitchen sink, must be in your name alone. There is no other way.
