I own a leasehold house. The agents who collect ground rent for the freeholder have written to say I should pay 35 to find out the cost of buying the freehold. How much can I expect to pay for the freehold? Where can I find out what it could be worth? Thanks

As you have been waiting for an answer for some while I thought I might have a go. Unfortunatley there are several variables that need to be known eg when was the lease granted, how long is it, what rent is paybale and so on. I suggest therefore that you have a look here to give you the full answer
