What do readers think UK rates will be in 12 months time? My buddy in the US has just secured a 30 year fix at 3.5% on $200k. Sounds too good to be true.

If I could answer this question I would probably be very rich already... Good for your buddy in the US. Let's hope it all works out for him. You never know - 30 years is a long time.
