Private investor wanted - what would u offer them in return
5 Answers
If you were looking for a private individual to invest a lump sum in your property - what would you offer them in return for their investment?
Currently banks offer a pathetically low rate on savings accounts etc - so what would be more rewarding to a potential investor.
Would you offer interest to be paid monthly or annually.
What rate of interest would you offer?
Just interested in your opinions please...
Would you link it to the base rate so your offer is always better than the banks interest?

Banks are offering about 3% for money in savings accounts. Banks are also not lending money to people like me at the moment even thought I can afford it and pay for it.
SO... if I can find someone willing to lend me the money I want.. what should I offer in return in terms of % interest to make it worth their while and more appealing than what thei bank would give them....
Does that explain it more clearly???

Yes I want a secured loan on our property.
But you assume wrong.. The banks are finding any excuse to not lend to many people at the moment!
We have a very good credit rating... and can prove affordability on the repayments.. They refused our application as the loan was to a huge extension - that would yes add value to the house!!!!
Just crazy.
If you read in the Sunday Times, banks are making the rules up as they go along.
