where do you see yourself 5 years ahead from now if you do an mba in the finance field?

shwetaanand1, would like to help, but in order to answer this and be useful, we'd need more information. For example, if this is about you, what are you currently doing, where do you want to be, who would you study with, how etc? Add a bit more info and we might be able to channel our answers a bit better.....

It depends largely on where and why.  I see a lot of CVs for MBA graduates with no working experience, and the MBA is then nicknamed Master of B****r All. 

People with work experience at Manager and Senior Manager level can benefit greatly from a good MBA.  Unfortunately, a lot of Uni's offer poor courses.  Lots of research on the course history is required!

I agree with Bangkok10120. Some MBAs aren't worth the money (though they are good fee earners for poor colleges). If in the UK, look for one that is AMBA accredited, and bear in mind that quality costs money.
