How much does the average Brit spend whilst on holiday abroad??  Do most people now take travellers cheques or currency or do they use their credit or debit card.

Thanks

take enough cash with you that you think you'll need for the first day or so and take more in travellers checks, these are more difficult to steal, they can be cancelled and replaced whilst your on holiday unlike your cash, cards are good too but those cannot be replaced on hols either. get a safe in your room or ask your hotel receptionist to put it in the hotel safe together with your valuables. remeber to put things like passport and other needed documents ie tickits in the safe too!!
