You can go into any main post office and ask for an international money order which can be cashed in various countries. Alternatley, you can also send a money gram which goes through almost straight away, and in some countries they do convert it into dollars, although you pay the moneygram in sterling. I will warn you though, to send a money gram up to �100, there is a �12 fee!
