Ticketmaster

Does anyone know if Ticketmaster UK are in financial difficulties? I bought tickets for a concert on the 04th of July and have not received them yet.

Everytime I try to call them there is a message saying they are busy and to call back later - this has been since Monday.

History tells me this is normally a sign that things are starting to go pear shaped with a company.

Anyone heard anything?

Ticket Master is one of the most realible. On a few occasions it has been sometimes just 2 weeks before a venue that I have received mine .

I am going to a concert on 22nd June but have not received the tickets yet - but it is quite normal for Ticketmaster not to send tickets out until the week before the concert.

Yes, it is just being patient, I am afraid.

they offer a 'ticketfast' service here in Ireland - if available there, use it, it's great. You get emailed your tickets instantly and you just print them.

In my experience, ticketmaster send the tickets out in the ordinary post, not special delivery or anything, a window envelope so it is very obvious that they are tickets.

Same thing happened to my friend, I was lucky enough to get mine but his got stolen in the post and were reallocated at the desk at the venue.

Cannot agree with the above poster. Yes, the tickets come in a window envelope but there is nothing to suggest the envelope contains tickets.

Anyway, I have received my tickets and I am confident that you will get your tickets in time, even if you have not received them since Thursday.

When I got my tickets, they were clearly visible through the window! You couldn't see which concert they were for but it was very obvious by the colour and typeface that they were concert tickets!
