after my divorce i inherited some money, has he got a claim on this money.

If I remember correctly, after my divorce back in the 80's there was a clause on the Decree Absolute stating that neither party had claim on the other as we were no longer married. This was in relation to pensions etc, so if you inherited the money after the Decree Absolute then Ino he has no claim, but to be on the safe side check with your solicitor.
