My sister is thinking of buying a small cafe its all set up and ready for running would she need any qualifications such as health, safety and hygiene certificates befor she started

She will need to hold a certificate from The Royal Institue Of Public Health and Hygeine (RIPHH).
She can take a a short course and the examination at her local college.

The local council issue H & S certs for the kitchen's utensils & cleanliness. No catering certs necessary for your own business - customers will show whether your food is any good.
