rare coin?
2 Answers
I found a 1998 2 pound coin with a typographical error on the side inscription. It reads "Standing on the shoulders of g ants" with a missing "i" in "giants". I have examined it very closely and the "i" was not scraped off. It was never stamped. I suspect that typographical errors on coins are rare. Is this true? Would this make the coin worth more than it's 2 pound face value?
