The BF - GOK. (God only knows: nothing to do with Gok Wan). I think he's more than adequately set up & comfortable, has no need to think about bills, never mind worry about them, lucky s0d. He might be, in fact he is, a half-millionnaire, but I'm too polite to enquire. Or beg.....!!

I started saving monthly with BT share-save scheme and they took it out of your wages each month.....there was a new scheme each year and I think I started with £50.00 a month and I increased it each year........at the end of the 5 year term you could have buy company shares with it at hugely discounted prices. I used to use all the savings and interest to buy the shares and sell them the next day...couldn't lose.
Trouble is, I have no willpower whatsoever. If I did manage to save a few hundred, at the first temptation I'd splash out and buy something with it. I did have an ISA once, a long time ago, I even had a NHS Pension... but unfortunately that all had to be cashed in when I left the ex and had to start again with my daughter.
I don't regret it though.
What's money? Pah !!
