I've transferred money from an account in China to an account in the UK.

I've checked my UK account. It says CHAPS does that mean that the money is from the account transfer in China?

I wasn't sure if CHAPS payments are received from overseas

Thanks!

CHAPS is a same day tranfer, i don;t see why it can;t be done from overseas banks. why not ring the uk bank and check
CHAPS means it is for men only (chaps), if you are female and not a chap you cannot claim the money

No seriously, CHAPS stands for Clearing House Automated Payment System. Its a fast means of payments and so usually arrives on the same day
