If you are in receipt of housing benefit and you decide to move to a different town (meaning a different council would pay your benefit...) Will your housing benefit be the same? (Based on all other circumstances staying the same) :)

That activates the 'Bedroom calculator' link. Work through that to find out how many bedrooms you're entitled to.
Then return to my link above and select either the Local Authority Search or the Post Code Search, to find out the LHA for your new area.
Note that, from April, you'll no longer be allowed to keep up to £15 if your LHA exceeds your actual rent. You'll simply get the same amount as the rent. Further, from April, the maximum amounts payable will be as follows:
* £250 a week for a one bedroom property (including shared accommodation)
* £290 a week for a two bedroom property
* £340 a week for a three bedroom property
* £400 a week for a four (or more) bedroom property
