Previously we've been asked for a competitions category - a place where you can share competitions which have cropped up across the net (that you think might be of interest to us humble ABers).

So here it is!

Feel free to share competitions you've found, or are running yourself, right here.

Please include the Prize, Closing Date, Medium (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Web) in the title.

Please also enter a description of the prize, a link to the submission page and the answer to the question body.

I used to do a lot of competitions by post (won some good prizes,the best a trip to the Barcelona Olympics) but gave up when postage got so expensive. Have never had any luck with Internet comps.

I won 2 tickets for last years Pantomime in Norwich, miles away from where I live.
When I received the tickets they were separate seats away from each other. Never went.

Thanks Ed, I am delighted with this new Topic.
I am a competition addict, enter loads, by post and on the net,and yes , I do win, and I love it.
I will do my best to share comps on here.
It would be lovely to have feedback on here from winners aswell. X

A better plan would be to delete all quizzes/crosswords/competitions categories from this site - why do people enter if they can't do the thing unaided? Pointless. Keep this site for sensible questions about day to day living/current events etc etc

Good luck with that, Ed. All but one of this weekends posts in Competitions were crossword/quiz questions.

Your note at the top saying the section is NOT for asking crossword/quiz clues may or may not be helping- I suspect that most posters don't read the guidance.
