they say blood is thicker then water but why is it when you have given up your life tohelp your family and once they are standing onthere feet they no longer make you feal needed ot it insecurity?

you love them unconditionaly but fealthats not the same from them

that's just the way they are. i wouldn't bother helping them anymore
It could also show that you have done your part so well, that they are now able to live their lives fully.
the job of a parent is to give their children roots so that they can grow wings.........simples
surely that's the whole point of them standing on their own feet - you are NOT needed anymore. Surely this is a good thing, unless you want them to always have a dependent relationship with you?
