Visit To London
12 Answers
My daughter (aged 8) has the chance to go on a school trip to London to see a musical . I don't normally worry about her going places, however they are travelling by train from York to london. I can't help but worry that she may get lost, stray from the group or get left on the train ( or the station platform). I don't want her to miss out on a fantastic day out just because i am a fusspot but part of me thinks she is too young. What are your thoughts?
p.s
Most of the other children will be 10 and 11.

I can assure you that the teachers will be doing head counts almost continuously, and that you've got absolutely nothing to worry about. Just make sure that she's knows the golden rule: "If you get separated from your group, STAY WHERE YOU ARE and let the teachers find you; DON'T go looking for them".
