Biro ink stains on white school shirt

Hello can anyone please tell me what i could use to get this pen off my sons white school shirt,He has only had this shirt for a couple of weeks and cannot get this ink out I have tried a spray on stain remover and it wont budge Any help would be good,thanks...

Try spraying with hairspray. leave for a couple of minutes and spray again.
Apply washing up liquid and run under warm water. Throw it in the washing machine.
That should remove the stain.

ive left them in bleach for over an hour now,so im just waiting i will let you know lol

just put pure bleach on the pen marks...gotta be worth 1 last try

i did all that,even my wifes hairspray,i must admit the pen has faded quite a lot i did the neat bleach thing and it has done a very good job so thanks to yummymum and cruella,for all your help.

Just try the stain removers they sell in the supermarkets, Dirt Devil, etc they do sell one for biro and other similar stains. I had a similar problem not long ago, it seemed to be the in thing to write on your mate's shirts when they weren't looking. I found out one partcular repeat culprit and complained to his Mum - I got a written apology and a new shirt. Anyway, I have tried Dylon stain remover 1, don't know if they still sell it but it works, you might have to try it a few times through the wash

Thanks for your advice,the bleach trick did do the job ,the trouble is my son keeps all his pens in his blazer pockets and then when they leak this happens.
