The amount of trouble they can get into and the things they can become involved in to early are too numerous to mention. As a result I have a sensible 17 year old who now he is out in the world is old enough to make good choices and I think more parents should stand up to youngsters and not give in for an easy life , this would result in less anti social behaviour from a young age and install more respect in youngsters for there elders.
well done isis, what an inspirational story.
the best things you can do for your children, boys or girls, is to love them, even though there will inevitably be times when you find it hard to like them and vice versa, and make sure they know you love them. giving a child boundaries is not only sensible but in the long run it is a loving thing to do.
give them roots so they can use their wings
by the way.....it seems to me that I worry more now about my children although 2 out of 3 have long since flown the nest!!
