Hi
Does anyone know how the CSA work with regards to taking money from the father of children?
Is this right .... the CSA work out how much the Mother should receive per month depending on how many children she has, their age, etc. Say for talking sake she was entitled to 400.00 per month yet when the CSA look at the fathers earnings, etc, he is only capable of paying 200.00 per month towards the children. Does the CSA ask him to pay this money directly to the Mother or do the CSA take that from him themselves then forward all monies to her!??
Hope that makes sense

At the end of each year all the accumulated interest is paid to the government.
As Mc Noodle says 15% for one child 20% for two etc. You can check the csa website but they have started taking interesting information off! They used to have information regarding Advance Payment but it seems to have disappeared and nobody seems to know anything about it!

i wouldnt advice given her money in her hand my partner did this then his ex still told the csa she wasnt getting any money and we had to pay it all back as we didnt have proof she had the money. you can either get the csa to do it for you which means they take money out his bank and put into hers or do a bank transfer where the money goes out of his bank and straight into hers. this way the csa dont need to get involved and you always have bank statements to proove she was been paid.
