Evra Contraceptive Patch

Hope someone can help...

I am currently using the contraceptive patch, and I am sure that I have read somewhere that you can put a patch on during the 4th week to stop the withdrawal bleed... I am unsure then though when I then have another "Patch free week"!

For example, If I put the patch on on the 1st of a month and this is week 1, the 22nd then becomes the start of the "Patch free week" if at this point I put another patch on, what date do I next have a "patch free week" is it the 3 weeks after or 4? I'm all confused by this so ifsomeone can help or at least point me in the direction of a website that can answer I would be grateful!!

There should be a leaflet in the pack which explains it all to you - if not, pop in and seen your pharmacist, they will advise you.
