Itching palat

My palat is itching like hell. I couldn't even sleep. Can anyone say why?

Afraid I can't help. other than sympathise, because mine is just the same at the moment.  I wondered if it was anything to do with the start of the hayfever season, not that I have had this symptom before, but there are always new pollens floating about ready to sneak in and annoy us.

I'll look forward to any possible suggestions also.

 The only time I get an itching palate is when I have hay fever. It gets really bad and the only thing that I have found that works is taking anti-histamines.

Interesting, I had one too a few days ago- and this coincided with a really bad cold - although it wasn't a cold!! I just had a lot of snot (sorry) and my face went all allergic and dry. This has gone now- but it certainly sounds like an allergic reaction. Take some Piriton!
