3 year old attachment stage

My 3 year old boy has always been very independent and social. Lately, he seems to be getting very attached to Mom and Dad and has a problem with going to daycare or babysitters. He also seems much more whinnie. Is this normal? anything we can do to help him?

It's not unusual.
Maybe just a phase he is going through ; but could also be because something at the daycare / babysitter is upsetting him.
If it is needing to be with you rather than not wanting to go to day care it is prob just a phase.
Of course he could also be coming down with something and be a little feverish.
We all get a bit sorry for ourselves sometimes and need the reassurance that we are loved.
