hi, is there some government edict which says baby formula must always be sold for the same price? Are there ever any offers on it, or does the breastapo make sure there isn't?
I think I vaguely remember something about that from when mine were babies, the only offers about were for follow on milk not the younger formula, think an offer would have deemed to be encouragement to stop breastfeeding. Have googled but can't find anything, maybe it's a supermarket agreement/guideline, rather than law. Is Phoebe home, is she all settled?
Mrs Flip tried in vain to breastfeed both of our children but she just found it far too painful - the disdainful looks from the midwives she got were unbelievable.
i still feel the need to tell people that i am having to give up breast feeding because of my meds, not that it's any of their business, but it makes me feel better about those looks!
I remember seeing something fairly recently that they aren't allowed to do promotions on forumla milk or discounts because they don't want to encourage parents to use it over breast milk. (I'm sure it was worded far better than that).
