How To Get My Daughter Back

my daughter is in foster care coz my dad has hurt her to point she has fractures how do i get her back and will it be heard fighting for her as i would do anything for her and miss her so much

I am really sorry for your situation - I suspect the court would not let you have her back until they knew you would be living where your dad cannot get near her. Do you have a social worker?

The dad (poster's dad) hasn't owned up officially. I felt the situation was more complicated than the brief post here stated - any advice given should really be on the basis of having the full story, facts.

You say don't judge but a child has had fractures inflicted presumably while officially in your care, what steps did you take to try to prevent this and what steps can you make to ensure this doesn't happen again? Top of my head I'd say living somewhere else in a stable and safe environment for starters.

i am on bail yes but me and my partner are innocent my daughter ius toddler walking around and so everytime i took her with me she always went back to where the tv or her toys where which my dad would then grab her by the neck and pull her to him or pinch her neck or pull on her arms and legs if i got her back i no i would be moving far from where my dad is and also protecting her from him i have never and would never hurt a child he used to do same to me but stopped when i was younger so my solicitor at time said give him a chance see how he is with your daughter i would do anything to get her back as ive said i'd move if necessary and change my tactics all i want to know is what i can do really

i did and so did my mum thats why my mum is going police station tomorrow to tell them about it all

why did you not go to the police station the first time it occurred, or social work department?

we didnt no till last week which then i was gonna take her to hospital or something and then go police station as i believed she came first he has brain damage so never understands that what he is doing is wrong

You must have a social worker, so talk to them.

my daughter was also banging her head on toddler bed which they can confirm is true so not all was done by him but a few where
