Child Health surveilance?
I have this option on a form to register my two week old daughter with our local doctor.
What is is? Do I need it? What are the pros and cons of having it?

In reality, probably if you turned up with a baby who had something majorly wrong they would see her, but you never know. You might ring to make an appointment to see a doctor with her and they'll refuse if she's not registered.
