Pre School Children And Older Step Siblings
I have two pre school chilren and two step children (14 & 15 year old girls).
Theres no rivalry or anything between them and they all get along. I think this is because they only see each other once or twice a year due to the huge and costly distance between us.
They are all together for Easter and now the little ones are slighly older than the previous visits, and far more aware of who they are and having the company. We are not looking forward to them leaving. We're not keeping it a seceret that the girls will be going and already mentioning it to prepare them, but we're not going on about it the whole time
The other night the girls went to stay with their granny, we weren't sure what would be best but thought our 5 year old would be best to go as she is more awary and dont want her to be left out.
As we live in the same street, granny brought her home when she got sad rather than try to get her to bed. She came home and wanted her sisters but in our house. She then went back to grannys to be with her sisters but its making us more worried about how she will be when they leave
Is anyone else in the same situation and how are you and your kids dealing with it?
