Different for any fragile babies, of course, but neither of mine big healthy babies had anything boiled. Their things were just washed up with the other dishes, and water came from the tap, which of course is already to a standard.

Hi solar junkie, Good point really because the sooner the kids start getting exposed to bugs and stuff the sooner they get resistant to it for later life. You know that kids who live in rubbish dumps almost never get sick!!
One point, you can boil water in a pressure cooker and it does not need boiling for 5 mins or whatever but the higher temperature will kill any bugs almost immediately, (saves energy as well)
