Does anyone have a young child (6-8) with body odor?

My daughter is 6 and my son is 8 and this past week I have noticed that they both have underarm smells. I have went and got them both DEO......But, isnt that to young? I also read that it could be from the milk they drink or from beef.... Has anyone heard of this?

The obvious answer relates to foods like strong cheeses, garlic and onions, but these would also be noticeable on the breath. There is something called precocious puberty which can affect children as young as 4, but you would also notice breast development and hair under the arms and between the legs. A third possibility is 'fish odour syndrome' (Yes, it's real and not a wind-up), which is treated with diet and medication. The last two require medical intervention.
