Nepalese Gurkha soldiers serve under special and unique arrangements. They remain citizens of Nepal during their service in the Brigade of Gurkhas in the British Army."
Migrants would need to satisfy one of those conditions in order to be considered.
There is not hope in hell of conscription working in any meaningful sense in the UK.
Over 9m people of working age (around 22%) are not working and not looking for work. More than 2.8m of them are classed as long term sick (a figure that has increased by 40% since 2019).
At the younger end of the scale (16-24 year olds) almost 3 million do not have a job and are no seeking work. Two-thirds of these are students, but that still leaves a million and around 75% of them are, allegedly, too ill to work.
There is no way on Earth that these people are going to meekly report to Catterick Camp when called up and he resources needed to round them up would be considerable and not worth the trouble.
Add to that the number of foreign nationals who, as above, are ineligible (almost 20% of the total population was born abroad) and the number of people who are working in what would be “reserved occupations”, and you might be left with a small number who might be prepared to join up provided they did not have to get up too early or work on a Saturday.
Conscription in this country is simply not a viable proposition and we must rely on people who want to be in the Armed Forces to muster what limited capability we might have.
The language isn't generally speaking a problem , most of the Gukhas don't speak English, or much.
The Brigade of Gurkhas is a unique organisation in the British Army with a reputation of being amongst the finest and most feared soldiers in the world. There are currently over 4000 Gurkhas employed in the Brigade of Gurkhas
The main language among the men is Nepalese, though I think the officer classes will be English-speaking.
There's not a hope in hell these fit young men, many of whom probably used an AK47 since they were 8, would be conscripted. It's against their ooman rights for a start.
It's a total non starter though, who in their right mind would go and fight for 2TK whilst millions of newcomers bask in luxury? Add to that the fact that when you come back 2TK and his mates will be waiting to hound you for the rest of your natural for "war crimes" i.e. killing the enemy.
So FreeGear cab forget it, lets face it I suspect it would be better to be under Russian control then Islamist which is where we are heading.
Lets start by identifying the real enemy in our midst.
