I would like to purchase a high chair for my 3 month old baby.( He always seems to be awake when we are having dinner.). does anyone know of any chairs i could use.

As you have probably found, most highchairs are only suitable from 6 months & up. I found this one which is suitable from 4 months, however it doesn't look as padded as the ones I have seen which recommend the later age!

I bought a Chicco one for my daughter, & I am sure she was under 6 months when she first used it. Nicely padded & adjustable (reclining) which is great for their back, & very useful for when they fall asleep in their dinner! Hope this helps :o)

Id already seen chicco brands, i thought they were good too. i might well go for this. ill just wait another month or two. thanks for taking the time to reply to my question, second opionions are great

You're welcome, hiliry ~ I have only just got rid of my daughters highchair..she used it for a good 3 years as the chair had a big seat. It doubled up as a booster when you took the tray off, so it is definately good value.

It might not be ideal as its low to the ground but what about a bouncy chair?

Its important that the child can sit up first. We used to put out son in a bouncy chair.

hi , i used the chicco highchair but there are a couple of makes out now that are padded and recline so that your baby doesn't have to sit straight upright and handy if he falls asleep ( the chicco had about 3 different recline positions ) , i found it handy when in the kitchen cooking or whatever too as i would take off the tray and strap pram toys across the chair while it was reclined - perfect baby gym and baby could still me

sorry i forgot to say what age my baby was when i started using the chair she was about 4 months
