natural birth after casarean??
hi there, i had my daughter nearly 3 years ago, it was a complicated labour and after hours, her heartbeat slowed and they ended up taking me for emergency casarean. we are now planning to have our second child and was wondering if any of you knew if i could have a natural birth, lots of people keep telling me i have to have another casarean because i have had one? is this true as i would love to experience a natural birth? obviously if there were complications i would do whatever!! thanx.

But my best friend has had three children her first child was born by casarean and the other two children born naturally. I to have often wondered as i don't fancy another section. Hope this helps!

GOOD LUCK
See http://www.caesarean.org.uk/ for information and contacts on Vaginal Birth after Caesarean (VBAC).
hi, i had exactley the same experience as you with my 1st child who is now nearly 13, i had my second pregnancy when she was nearly 6, all the way thro this pregnancy i'd intended to have a normal birth which was a viable option, (no-one had ever suggested i'd 'have' to have another c-section) but on my last visit to the consultant i got the colley-wobbles and was so scared the same situation would occur so requested a planned c-section, it was therefore decided between the consultant and myself that i went in a week before he was due, booked in for 10am and he was born at 10.15! no problems at all (maybe a cowards way, but once you've been scared, you want everything to go smoothly the next time)!! good luck anyway, whatever you decide to do!!
You could join the NCT http://www.nctpregnancyandbabycare.com/ they are usually good with info on VBAC (vaginal birth after a caesarian)
