They know how much the real world sucks and they want the very best for you with regards to exam grades, so that you can get a decent job/ career when you leave school.
I know it's disheartening but when they are disappointed with future grades, try to think of that?
I though the exact same as Fat Boy but didn't know how to say it in a very PC way! lol
Is it just me or does this new 'Txt speak' drive you wild as well? My son tried it at home and soon realised that i was not prepared to talk to him while he rabbited on like it. Don't get me wrong, i can txt as well as everybody but i just feel the English lanaguge education and the correct use of the English is forgotten in the hopes that they can concentrate on another subject..
Hanchiang - maybe you need to sit your parents down and have a chat about expectations. explain that you feel you are trying your hardest. With my son, if he can promise me that he had tried the hardest he could, then I'm happy - even if he doesn't get the mark he hoped for. Thats all anybody can ask of you.
