Currently Grandparents (in England at least) have no legal right to access to their Grandchildren.

As much as I am aware, grandparents have no rights with regards to contact ~ however the Childrens Act 1989 may make provision for the childs rights to contact with their grandparents?

Just a thought.....

Thanks guys, just as i thought. I've been threatened with courts and all sorts! I thought it might all be toosh!!

I have been told that I can apply to the courts for visitaion? My grandaughter is with foster carers at this time.

I know its a while since you asked this question but i am just in the process myself of trying to find an answer to this question, as my brothers ex is trying to restrict access between my neice and my parents - i think this is very unfair as my parents have not been involved in the split but are now being punished. Its disgusting how this can happen and how they can get away with it - All for fathers for justice!!
