Horror As 'Man Doused In Bleach' In Busy...
News16 mins ago
I gave my little boy his MMR jab last week, they said that in a weeks time he could get a fever.. which he has!
It started yesterday morning, and tonight his temperature is 39.8. I have done all the obvious, Calpol, Nurofen cool towel and light clothing. Just wondered if anyone else's babies suffered like this, and how long it lasts.
I feel dreadfull because I know that I have caused him to be so poorly. Its horrid.

and as a footnote regarding your final paragraph.......you are a parent......you will always be in the wrong........you will always feel guilty.......you will never do enough to satisfy.........but they will love you anyway.......welcome to the wonderful world of parenthood.......enjoy!!
Hi Vics128.
My Daughter was ill last week and I got told that if her temperature reaches 40 take him to Doctors/A & E straight away.
When she had her injections she suffered too but not for long - less than a week.
You did the still did the right thing having it done as think of how awful it would be if he got sick with MM or R - it would be a lot worse.
Lack of sleep is awful but try and sleep when he does - which I know is easier said than done - let the housework wait! Your more important!!!
Hope he is better soon. xxxxx
I hope your son's feeling better now.
If you're still feeling bad for having caused him to be sick this might help:
