child staff ratios
I want to send my 3 children (Ages 4, 7 and 9) on a holiday playscheme that is being run this easter in my local area. However, i was a bit concerned to find that there staff to child ratio was 1:15 for all ages. Does anyone know if there are any standard government guidelines/laws that specify what the ratios should be? I'm sure i've read somewhere that its 1:8 for below 6 yrs old, am i correct?

If you have a look at their website you might find some more information. If they are Ofsted registered you will be able to view the report online and that will show the number of staff they have and the amount of children they are allowed to care for.
Hope that is of some help.
