money for kids mother
I was just wondering... how much does a father have to pay for child support? even if he is hardly allowed to see them? what if he didnt go throught the court what would be a resonable amount to offer per month per kid?

It just depends what the childs mother is like, as to how much she expects. I always understood that my ex had his new family to support so i would never want to take more than needed from him. I suppose more would be useful, but personally, i would rather keep a friendly relationship with him for my boys sake and have him help me out in other ways. Try not to go to court over this as that can cause very bad feeling between you but obviously, she has to be reasonable. It very much depends on her income and situation, i feel.
isnt the csa supposed to change things about these self employed gits of fathers? i dont get a penny either so this really gets my goat.
if they could see in his bank account then they would see he has plenty of money for his son!....he doesnt pay any tax but neither claims benefits...so how does the tax office thinks he survives? very well by the size of his beer belly! meanwhile i open up another tin of beans :o(((
i have to say, i do feel sorry for men who aren't allowed to see their kids for no other reason than the fact that the mother doesn't want them too! Its out of order. the kids come first regardless of money! sorry, but i had to say that. men get a raw deal sometimes. Oh, and the CSA only chase after the dads who already look after their kids. Its too much hard work to chase the absent ones who REALLY need chasing!
The CSA make me laugh! I have been trying for 5 yrs to get my ex to pay maintenance, and even tho he is self employed and earns over 40k a year,he told them that he is making a loss so they have decided he can't afford to pay me a penny!! And he thinks its hysterical! No wonder parents give up on the system.
It depends on if your a git or not. When my parents got divorced my dad became really nasty when it came to money. I was and still are at private school and he gives my mum 50 quid a month and hed rather keep his precious shares them secure my future in a school which i enjoy. Something to this day i have never forgiven him for. My advice is even if you dont get to see your son make sure you give enough to make sure he has a good life. Your former spouses income should also play a part in your descion. And always always keep to your word on how much you give him. My advice is find out what you should be giving your kid each and then give a little more. If they go to private school set up a trust fund. Just remember although your ex-wife/girlfriend may have hurt you you are still both connected through your children.
I hope you make the right descion
