I am 8 months pregnant myself at the moment, and it never crossed my mind that I should stop driving at any time!

How else am I supposed to get to work and other places?

As long as the pregnant lady feels comfortable in driving then there is no reason at all to stop.

I have had 3 children and took my oldest to school and had my 3rd at 3.15pm that same day.

If you are comfortable then theres no need to stop driving.

I was driving an hour to work up until i was 2 weeks overdue. Due to nerves my partner drove me to the hospital for induction but there was no reason why i couldnt drive.

Of course it all depends on your car and the size of your bump. if the seatbelt is uncomfortable, have you tried a bump belt to keep it under your growing bump?

willspal I was the same! in fact my waters broke on the school run after picking the kiddies up..hubby said I 'conditioned the leather' very nicely indeed :o)

Don't stop driving unless you feel uncomfortable. Personally, I would have gone barmy if I couldn't have got about in my car!

I'd guess you shouldn't drive when you're in the latter stages of labour.
